Return Ticket
According to my ticket, today is the day I should be back in LA.
Fate would have it otherwise. We have yet to receive anything from the gov't in regards to our application and I got an email from my travel agent telling me that my flight had been cancelled.
The good news I found out is it's been replaced by a new route and a new plane. The new air bus. Non-stop from Bangkok to LAX. No more Japan leg to the commute. I guess Sow will have to wait for that bowl of Udon I've been promising her.
The new flight boasts extra room, state of the art seats with built-in on demand video. They also tell me Ray is old enough to fly as well. Then the other shoe drops. My current ticket goes belly up Feb 20th. Now I'm on a use-it-or-lose-it deadline. So there's a good chance some of you may be seeing me quite soon. I'll have a brief chance to catch up on some things, (*cough, cough, TiVO), maybe get my taxes done, and dart back.
What would you do with only a week in LA?

Things I would personally like to do if I'd been away for a long time:
1. See a movie at the Arclight.
2. Visit Point Dume.
3. Go shopping on Melrose.
4. Hear some live music at a local venue such as Largo.
5. Eat at Bob's Big Boy (Burbank) and/or Pink's.
6. Go for a hike in Runyan Canyon.
7. Check out the L.A. Weekly and City Beat to see what other cool events may be going on such as art or film events.
That's nice and all Jodi, but my prediction of what Aaron will do on his trip back to L.A....
1. Maybe get his taxes done
2. "Scoe's Special" at Roscoes' Chicken & Waffles
3. deep sleep for a week without a cranky baby crying
Duuuuddddeeeee.....???!!!! I already told you... we're going to In-N-Out when I get back. But spot on about sleeping without the cranky crying baby. Spot on.
I think Harry could use a couple of Double Doubles too...he's been a real trooper! We'll have to bring him. ;)
