There Comes A Day...
I know I've talked a lot about my cute little boy Rayluk. "The World's Cutest" I believe some have called him. That's a lot to live up to. A lot of pressure to put on such a young boy. Well, he's over 4 weeks now. That's a month, right? I guess we can call him young man. There comes a time in every boys life (we'll call it 4 weeks) when he has to come face to face with the harsh realities of life.
Kids grow up so fast these days. They learn about sex, violence, crime, etc... They get it all from video games I hear. We'll just start with acne. Yes, my beautiful little baby boy has acne. The doctor says it's probably because of hormones he gets from his mother. I just look at it as a way to pull him down off that precarious pedestal. Keep him from all those embarrassing paparazzi. Save him some face so to speak.
I thought I'd document it.
Warning: Roll over at your own risk.
Ala Ren & Stimpy close up.
I shot these really close up with a macro lens.
Makes that thing look huge!

With my teeth!
No, actually we didin't yet. Saving it till it's good and ripe!
Trying to figure out what he best way to do it is. Gotta savor the moment. Fingers? Tweezers? Pliers?
Oh joy! My first material possession! I can hardly wait to pop it!
Wow, Rayluk just isn't so cute anymore!
(just kidding of course!)

Hey, why you gotta go and double-cap on my boy like that!?
oops, sorry...don't know how that happened!
It's cool. I think you've always been one of his biggest fans. Right behind the Rebecca, who told another new mother that her baby wasn't as cute as mine!
Okay, here's some advice from a pimple popping expert. First, do NOT attempt to pop it first thing after he wakes up. His skin is 'weakest' at that point and popping may cause some scarring or show finger welts. I suggest waiting a few hours. To make sure you don't leave your fingernail imprints (don't worry if you do.. they'll go away after a few hours), wrap your popping fingers in tissue. Start at the skin around the pimple and push any pus that is not in the pimple into the pimple. Once you've kneaded all the pus into the pimple, start at the edge and just push down and then across.
How fun!
p.s. i'm only an expert because I, um, asked a dermatologist.
