Lucha Va Voom

Ohhhh... I almost forgot. Well it happened last night, so I guess I did. In fact it sold out a while ago, both shows, so I guess I really missed it. This morning I was thinking about the joys of Halloween. Dressing up in costumes. Eating candy corn, but telling everyone you hate it. Digging thru your bag of allergy laden nutted chocolates to find a few mini Twix and Milky Ways! And of course Lucha Va Voom's special Halloween show.

Lucha Va Voom is Mexican Wrestling at it's finest. But wait there's more. There's Mexican Midget Wrestling, Los Minis! There's retro-style burlesque! Comedy. And since it's Halloween they do it all up in costumes. In fact there's a team dressed as chickens every year, Los Gallineros. The whole thing takes place at the Mayan, and this is a great way to experience such a historic piece of architecture.

If you've missed this one, don't worry they'll be in Vegas in November, and they usually do a special Valentine's show at the Mayan as well. See you there!
