Meet the Prakhe's

These are Sow's parents. They couldn't wait for me to get to Chiang Mai! This is them at the bus station. Apparently they couldn't wait to leave Chiang Mai. Was it something I said?

Sow's mom gets a little nervous around me since she speaks no english, and I still speak very little thai. She mainly giggles a lot when I'm around. Her dad's trying to learn english. He knows even less than my thai, but his accent is really good. Both her brothers learned english in school, but they never get a chance to use where they live. Much like my high school french classes.

The bus ride back to Korat is about 13 hours. That kinda sucks cause it's supposed to be about the same distance as Los Angeles to San Francisco. They must be taking the PCH or something?
